Howlin' Wolf

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

Chester Arthur Burnett, Howling Wolf Juke Joint in Mississippi aka Howlin' Wolf, was born June 10, 1916 in White Station, Mississippi. Chester migrated north in the 1930's to Chicago, where his big bad self became one famous blues singer, a mean guitarist, and harmonica player. Howlin' was 6 feet 6 inches tall and he liked to fight, and he won most of them. Had a big voice too. He died January 10, 1976, in the little town of Hines, Illinois.
